C-POP Study Patient Advisory Group - screening questionnaire

We are looking for people who have experience of having apical pelvic organ prolapse (where the womb, or neck of the vagina bulge or protrude into the vagina) to take part in a Patient Advisory Group for the CPOP study.

There are different types of prolapse, for example, bladder, or bowel, where we mention pelvic organ prolapse, is it the apical prolapse that we mean.

Your role would be to work together with the research team to make sure that the study is acceptable and appropriate. For example, this might include looking at the information sheets and letters we send to patients, which are used to recruit people to the study, are understandable.

Your help might be through taking part in online video meetings, and by making comments on paper documents which we can send to you through the post. If you find it difficult to join an online meeting, we can contact you via telephone, either landline, or mobile whichever is easier for you.

We anticipate that this role might take up to around 16 hours of your time over the duration of the study (July 2023 to September 2024) at four different time points (July 2023, October 2023, April 2024, September 2024).
